Another great book: Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly.

This is an amazing true story about 4 brilliant black girls that worked at Langley in Washington DC during WWII,
through the Cold War, Civil Rights and the space race. Eventually working for NASA. They had math skills like no other and were know as
computers....yes human computers.

This book came out in 2016 and there is a movie with the same name. So some of you may already know all about this book but
it was new to me. Just an incredible true story. I am amazed that I have never heard about these women before.

Give it a look.

I wanted to see that movie, but never did. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the heads up on another interesting read. My list is growing ......

I second the recommendation! I saw the movie first then read the book. The book has so much more and is not "Hollywood-ized" [;)].

I saw the movie when it was accessible through Xfinity on my tv. I really did enjoy it, although, as you mentioned Donna, it was "Hollywood-ized." I would like to read the book.
