Thank you all very much for your prayers. My greatest fear was colon cancer, Praise God this is not the case. Apparently the Dr said my UC was actually very mild and he had every reason to think we would have that under control by the end of the year or at latest by spring. The problem is abnormal cells in my esophagus almost at the stomach. The cells are not cancer, there is an excess of white blood cells, and some evidence of a possible allergic reaction. Allergen is unknow. There were a lot of if's & maybe's. We started some treatments. I go back in 4 wks. There are still more questions than answers but the Dr is kind and knowledgable. Again thank you for your prayers. I ask that you continue and we get more answers about the cells. The dr, after I asked, said the cell might be pre-cancer.
As a side bar, my sister has injured her hip and is in a lot of pain. My dd arrive Sunday and was able to stay with sis while I went to DR alone. Pray that my sis can get some relief. I can't get her to go to the dr, and that my dd and I will have some time together. I am taking vacation time. I just feel a little over whelmed. Thank you for you prayers. As always you're the greatest.
In life and death we belong to God. Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Sprit, we trust in the one triune God, the Holy One of Israel, whom alone we worship and serve....
