I made a sugar free cobbler this weekend that fooled my husband. I used Splenda and frozen mixed berries. I took a bag of frozen mixed berries and thawed. I added about 1/2 cup of water to increase the juice and then sprinkled on the Splenda to taste and then let them set a couple of hours. You then melt 1/2 stick of margarine in a 8" or 9" square pan in the oven. Mix 3/4 c. of all purpose flour, 1/2 c. Splenda and approximately 1/2 c. skim milk. I tasted this at this point and made sure it tasted sweet enough. Pour this mixture into the pan and then spoon the fruit over this mixture. Bake in the oven @ 45 minutes on 375 degrees. Check this @ 10 minutes before scheduled time as Splenda cooks a little differently than sugar. Of course, my husband said it would taste better with a big gob of butter in the middle of his serving.

sounds Yummy! Any more sugar-free recipes, anyone? I bought some Splenda, but I haven't cooked with it yet.

Splenda is the best 0 cal. sweetener I've found. Now if they could only make diet soadas with it I'd be set. I can't stand that "aftertaste"

Diet Rite cola is sweetened with Splenda.
It is pretty good too.
