 Float dress...results (2004)

Dear ladies....I just wanted all of you to know that I did make a high-yoke dress (I think I got the name float dress from Strasberg lace catalogue, actually) using the Chery Williams pattern, and it turned out beautifully! Thanks for your help with my dilemna about making it sleeveless! And for all of those with the new A-Z of Sewing for Smockers...I attached the buttons by embroidering a flower on it. It is darling! I wish I could post a picture, especially since members of this board answered several questions while I was making this dress, in addition to seeing the suggestions previously posted about using wash away wonder tape! I'll post this also on the hand sewing board...because , I was also able to figure out how to shadow embroider a circle from responses on that board! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for helping me make such a beautiful dress! (Sorry if I sound too gushy...but I'm just thrilled with the results of this dress!) I made it for dd's 5th birthday and it looks just precious on her!
