 More Aryshire Work

Well - another dgc on the way - due end of October - and they asked for a crib cover in the Aryshire work - so have been having lots of fun!

I used print outs from the MP Vintage Lace machine embroideries for my templates on these. And of course - made a few changes to make the embroideries fall into line with Aryshire work. These work marvelous for this! Well worth the price of the machine embroidery just for the templates to use in the hand embroidery! And having the book to look at some of the antique hand work really helped me decide what to do.

This is such relaxing and fun work to do ! I'm really hooked on it! lol!

That is so nice. Hand work is relaxing but time consuming I do not get enough done these days. Machine embroidery has taken over my life. LOL I loved the previous pieces you had posted. Had to go check this one out. Waiting anxiously for the full pictures. You do such nice work.

NanaPP you are the luckiest Nana on the face of the earth - at least once a year often more you get a new grandbaby to sew for usually pink ones too. Guess what colour I am today and it isnt pink.
