It has been TEN days since any postings. Is anyone doing hand sewing right now? What are you doing?

I'm doing another Petite Poche Daisy May. The collar has hand sewing (bullion daisies). I guess I could do ME on it and save time, but I prefer the hand embroidery:)

Yes... I'm finishing up some wardrobe items for an 18" glazed china lady doll (circa late 1850s style, but it's a modern reproduction), and a lot of the work is by hand to get the right finish and drape. Black silk dress, netting & lace mantle, white batiste nightgown and cap, and tucked petticoat are on the agenda for finishing this weekend.

I always have something going- right now I'm doing some simple work just to help relax and it's a kit by J Dempsy with Sunbonnet girl quilt. It's mostly outline stitch and it's nice to keep something going during the hectic holidays that will take no thinking.

I finishes Little Bo Peep from AS&E before Thanksgiving, a cross stitched mouse pad for a teacher gift, working on a book mark (another teacher gift) and started Alice Blue gown for my youngest's Christmas dress and will be starting my stuff from Wendy when it gets here.
