I have a hard time getting my outlines for the shadow work to look nice and smooth and even. I'm such a perfectionist, I want them to be perfect!! I was thinking that I could make the outline a design with my embroidery software, embroider the outline with my embroidery machine, then do the shadow work on the back using the embroidery outline threads to weave the shadow work into.
Has anyone even tried this? If so, how well did it work? If no one has tried it, maybe I'll try it and I'll let you know how well it works. It could SAVE a lot of time if it works out well!!
Lets see.... I'll have to use a triple stitch outline stitch, tear-away stabilizer, and perhaps I'll have to make sure that I get embroidery thread for the machine the same color as my floss.
I'm going to wait at least a few days before I try it to see if anyone responds with any experience in trying it.
Happy Stitching to All!
Blessings,
Susan
