Ok - I don't know what's funnier - that I know what you're talking about or that I actually might know a source! Or maybe that I just really need to get a life!!! Or a real job! I Googled Hebedo to be sure it was what I was thinking - and it is - and I *think* the AtoZ of Whitework #1 published or marketed by Country Bumpkin has a couple pages on it. I'm at work so can't check to be certain but that is ONE wonderful book if you're liking whitework at all. This book is widely available from US vendors as well as directly from CB and maybe even Amazon by now so check around for the best price and postage.

But Reticula is needle lace - right? Well, I guess technically Hebedo would be considered needle lace, too. I'm not so sure about that but probably somebody else will know.

AND - I found a really cool baptismal gown site I'm going to post over on the Children's thread

Sparkle,
I figured if anyone knew anything about this, it would be YOU, and I was
right!! Thank you so much! You're right; both are needle lace. With my eyes, I must be out of my mind to even consider this, but I want to at least try. I'm going to check out the AtoZ!! (Does that just happen to have your Mountmellnick (sp?) in it???) BTW, Did you know that one can get points at the Holiday Inn group of hotels and American
Airlines by buying at Barnes and Nobles, Alibris, Half.com. or Abebooks?
(Me, I'm such a cheapskate, I look for all the deals! lol)

Sparkle, I am so glad that you job doesn't "interefere" with your REAL life!!! lol Thanks for your help; you are always such a great source of information!

Kathleen
