MP six easy pieces book & patterns

I have read the previous posts on MP Womens Patterns but I have a different question so decided to start a new thread. I am interested in making the Kimono Jacket but am a little worried that I may be too large busted for that style. I am small framed but large chested. It is always hard to get something to fit bustline without too large neck and shoulders. I thought I wouldf try making this jacket a size smaller than normal because I don't intend to add buttons. I have never worn that type of sleeve as it looks like it would accentuate full bust, do any of you have any thoughts or experience about that?

Sounds to me like your shaped a little like Dolly Parton, tiny but blessed. If your not going to button i would think that the style would make for a more streamline look, and not accent your bustline. Not having your problem I really can't relate. My trouble is everything is too big and not my bustline. LOL Kathy

I have the opposite problem - bigger tummy than chest (I call it the perpetually pregnant look). However, I've made that jacket and found that it covers a multitude of sins. I felt like I was wearing a bathrobe, though, as I'm not used to clothes that unstructured. It was very easy to put together.
