Didn't know what to do with the lace overlay hem, so I just stitched a decorative double scallop on the edge. Hope it works

I used a decorative stitch for the hem on the sleeves too.

I just loved doing this, but I told my husband and my daughters, I will do this for my grandkids, but if anybody else wanted me to do one for them it would cost them That lace was a bit ornery sometime, but I worked out.

I dreamed this dress up in my mind, and then had to go out and find out how to do it. I'm pleased with the results.

Thanks again Ladies, for all your help in this. You all sure know how to ease the anxiety ;)

Absolutely beautiful! You did a very professional job...love it! Such elegance in a dress - and once it is on a beautiful child, even more lovely!

The dress is fabulous and I'm so impressed with the lace overlay, most elegant and beautiful. Congratulations on creating an heirloom for this and future generations.

Thank you, Carol and "Grammie" It was a dream that I had, and the Lord saw fit to help me make it come true.

I owe a good bit from all these ladies on this forum for helping me out.
