I am looking for a pattern, size 4 or 5, with Madeira appliqué hem and hopefully a bit of Madeira on the yoke as well...high yoke or waisted, doesn't matter. I know I have seen these over and over again in my books and magazines. I haven't searched through my Sew Beautiful's or AS&E's yet...I'd like short puffed sleeves. Does anyone have a favourite to recommend? Or even just a photo to inspire and I can use a basic pattern? TIA.

I have the first of Connie Palmer's patterns - "Michelle's Madeira Dress" - it comes in sz 2-6. This is a sleeveless dress with madeira on the collar and the hem. Really cute - but no sleeves!

You can see it here:

Do you have Martha's Heirloom Sewing for Jack and Jill book? I remember her having one or two in there.

Thanks very much. I checked out all of your links, and Jack and Jill...so lots to think about. I have a vintage pattern that I will make in a size 3, for one of the little girls, and then I will choose one of the Madeira's for the middle girl...and I'm making a CC Lillian for the older girl, plus a Burda jacket and Kwik Sew skirt. These aren't related children, just friends x 3. I really should look through my AS&E's too. Farmhouse Fabrics has an index for AS&E's. I think I will buy it, but I found a few patterns I want and hope I can find the index and patterns all on one site...SOS (save on shipping) 😊
