I piece of ribbon in the pull tab might help you and Arthur work together.

Shirley that is a good idea but it is a hidden zipper so I have nothing to tie the ribbon on!! Guess I will be the lady stuck in her top!! LOL

is the pull tab metal?? thinking magnet like the strong earth magnet if it is plastic a hot needle through the pull tab so you could insert even crochet thread...

I googled invisible zippers and it said that the pull tabs are almost always plastic so before you start find a thin needle with a decent size eye - thread the needle before you heat it... it wont take much to put a needle through it... cutting board needle threaded and the tab exposed put hole dead center using same colour thread if you leave long piece you can knot it and put it inside the arm hole.
