I've been thinking about making some FSL for bookmarks. I got to wondering if someone is reading a book and their hands get a little damp, does the FSL get sticky? Sometimes, especiall in summer, I have a glass of water handy which gets condensation on it. Even though I may wipe my hands, they still have some dampness. Maybe I'm just obsessing about this, but am curious. I don't recall starch getting sticky from the days that I used to actually starch clothes and thought that may be better to use than wss.

I love to read, and use only FSL bookmarks. Usually I have a tall glass of iced tea to sip - and admit being addicted to it. I haven't noticed the FSL getting sticky from condensation on my hands. Having a lot of FSL for Christmas and Halloween decorations, I truly haven't noticed any problem like you describe.

Penny, do you have a free design to share?

Penny, what are you thinking of using instead of wss? Organza? And then burn or melt away the remaining edges?

I don't have a design, but have been searching websites for something that appeals to me. Before I start, I thought I'd better get some advice before "learning the hard wasy!"

I hadn't thought about using organza. However, I found a freebie that was a little organza pouch that I wanted to try. I thought it'd make a nice hostess gift with a nice soap inside and maybe sell at craft shows. So, maybe I'll try both ways and decide what I like best.
