I love all things Victorian and Giulia Punti designs!! So this was perfect for me!! It's a cross stitch kit left over from a class she taught when she was in Williamsburg, VA.

But here are some of her other designs: http://www.puntiantichi.com/

Those are really delightful creations...so much patience! I love them and I'll bet others will cherish them for a very long time. Special indeed!

Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my chin, what a gorgeous project! You and I share the love of many of the same things, and Victorian is one of them. I remember when you shared your beautiful doll pincushion and I'm glad to see her displayed in safety in her lovely glass dome. Your work is just wonderful.

P.S. Did the kit come with those stickpins?

Thanks, Ladies!! This sure was a fun project!

And, Carol, the Murano Glass hatpins were extra--but they were sold at the needlework shop and looked so pretty. DH saw them and said they had to come home with us!!! LOL

Practice on some scrap fabric. Be sure that your stitches are nice and firm, but not so tight that they make ripples and bumps. you fabric should look sewn together, not stapled together. (My hand sewing teacher is school had us staple fabric and we had to compare our hand sewing to the stapled sample!) help with assignment The back stitch will work best for your pillow case.

Reason me while I wipe the dribble from my jaw, what an exquisite venture! You and I share the adoration for a large number of similar Purchase Assignment Online things, and Victorian is one of them. I recall when you shared your excellent doll pincushion and I'm happy to see her showed in security in her stunning glass vault. Your work is quite recently superb.
