Have you bought some of these classes? If so, how does it work? Can you watch as many times as you like or are you limited to a certain number of times? I'm trying to decide whether to buy classes online from them or buy their DVDs containing certain classes.

I really like Craftsy classes!! I bought several on sale for pattern fitting--love them!! And, I also bought some quilting classes by Amy Johnson and Patsy Thompson--really great!! I love the classes because I get to email any questions to the teachers and know I will get answers--and see questions and answers others posted. I can watch as often and whenever I want, too.

Why don't you find a class and sign up for it--see how you like this format? There is a sale going on right now--Just add any Craftsy class to your cart and use code CLICKORTREAT at checkout.

Do you have an opinion on whether to buy the class on DVD or online? The DVD comes with a booklet and is just a little more money than the online class.

Well dithering around making up my mind turned out well after all. Saw a notification from Craftsy that they have a promotion going on offering some of their classes for free so I signed up for the Ruler Work class I've been curious about.

I find myself turning to Craftsy classes more and more as local shops close or limit their class offerings. Craftsy classes are always available, though WiFi is needed. I enjoy seeing pictures of class projects, the ability to make notes and replay portions. That said, I did buy some DVDs for my most viewed classes (fitting) so I could watch them offline. Craftsy offers sales often enough you never have to pay full price for a class. Sign up for their newsletter and watch for their sales.

Enjoy and learn!

Carol, I bought a class (haven't watched it yet) and so get adds for their sales that
pop up fairly regularly on face book. Recently I saw one of their adds said they've made
some of the classes into DVD's we can purchase and those were on sale for $19 too. I'd
like that, although then I wonder if we can still email the instructor with questions?
People have said the instructor is quick to reply.

The classes are often on sale for $19...any class, which is a good deal because some
of them are pricey. I've heard many singing praises for craftsy classes but never
heard a bad review. Sounds safe enough to me : )

I received a catalog from them in the mail offering some DVDs at sale prices so I couldn't decide whether to buy them or buy the classes. I'll watch the class and then see if I want to buy the DVDs. Thanks everyone for your input.
