Looking at a Sue Box Design -Butterfly Array. Think it's metric and wondered if anyone could tell me what this is in inches. Only wayI'll know if it will fit my hoop

121.20 mm = 4.77 Inches

194.10 = 7.64 inches

When she gives the sizes, the first number is mm and the second one after the slash is inches. 121.20/4.77 x 194.10/7.64

So, 121.20mm is 4 3/4" (4.77") and 194.10mm is 7 2/3" (7.64").

Thanks. The large hoop for my Bernina 180 has a stitching area of 6x8 according to what I have written in a notebook, so think the design is too large. Hoop size 6 1/8 x 7 7/8. It's so pretty.

Pat...I'll bet the design would fit - and if not, you can always downsize it a little bit.

It looks to me to be just 1/8" too big...but I'd give it a try too! You can always reduce size right on the machine.

I have the 180 and it has the capability to reduce size. It's in the "Layout 1" menu at the top right. Choose the box that shows bigger to smaller and I think reducing it by 3% would work.

I bought it and also emailed Peter Cheney. He got back to me with the exact hoop size. it's what I have written down for my 180--Lg hoop 7 7/8. All should be good for "whenever " I get to it. Too petty to pass up. Shirley, glad to know you got them.

I was thinking maybe a sweatshirt. All your ideas are great and they would look good on any of them. I only ordered the Butterfly Array as think the others were all larger. I have a Bernina 180 with Designer 7 software. You have so many choices of machines!

My go to is now the 500e for embroidery and the 12000 for sewing or both when I have projects piling up...set them up in tandem and embroider one and construct on the other...
