Hi Pat! In the file section of the group, is the "template" for selling. About the second paragraph it does give an email address. I think I have used the link "new message" & then followed the prescribed format. Good Luck in selling!

One of my yahoo groups posted that yahoo was no longer supporting the groups and that members could no longer post pictures, or even modify or delete them. Their understanding was that basically yahoo groups were winding down. Sad. And the alternative, typically is Facebook. I’ve tried to get comfortable on Facebook, but it just hasn’t happened for me.

I have tried to sell on the yahoo group before.. I found it WAY to picky,, sorry, but that was just my opinion,, you have to post your info for the sale in just a certain order, or certain way,,

On the FB group. I found much more user friendly,,

Pat, I really like the facebook Smocking Destash group. It is easy to use for a non-tech savvy person like I am. The range of type of fabric, notions, and patterns members buy and sell is generally more limited than Sewitsforsale. So depending on the type of stash you are intending to reduce , you might want to check out both. I find posting ads and photos on Sewits much more complicated, but I have been able to sell things on that group I wouldn't have on the fb group.
